Heber Valley is a vibrant area just south of Park City, UT. It boasts spectacular beauty, rural charm and tons of outdoor recreational opportunities. They wanted a new website that:

  • showcased the area’s beauty,
  • was clean and simple to use,
  • promoted all of their Members,
  • highlighted their busy event schedule, and
  • was easy to keep updated.
Highlighting Member Listings

Because the Go Heber Valley website is shared as both the tourism website and the Chamber website, it was crucial that it strike a balance between giving tourists and visitors the resources they need for their visit to their area, while also promoting their Chamber Members. To do that, all businesses within the Heber Valley are listed on the website with their location and contact information, but only Members are given their own robust detailed listing page with photos, business hours, customizable map and directions and prominent placement throughout the site.

The Events page was critically important not just to the Heber team, but also to the community and is by far the most trafficked page inside the site. It was important to them that it be easy to update, publish events and navigate for the user. We added color-coded filters for their most popular event categories to make it easy for the community to find the events they were looking for, utilized an event submission form to allow community members to submit their events that - once edited as needed and approved - are automatically added to the calendar, and built in a recurring event tool to better help the Heber team manage frequently occurring events. 

Member Portal

Heber wanted to empower their members to be able manage and update their listings, so together with their feedback and needs in mind, we built their Member Portal. Now, their Chamber Members have a dedicated hub where they can login and not only update information about their business listing - hours, phone number, etc - but also share exclusive events and deals with other members, stay current on Chamber news, announcements, and initiatives, and connect with other Chamber members.
